Breathing Life into Cherry Ventures

At Amelie.Garden, we believe plants can do more than just fill a space—they can tell a story, set a mood, and create a sense of belonging. Our installation at Cherry Ventures in Berlin was inspired by these ideas, blending natural textures with a bold, contemporary vibe that reflects the dynamic energy of their workspace.

Inspiration and Vision
The idea for this installation came from Cherry Ventures' sleek interior design, which features clean lines and modern finishes. We wanted to soften those edges by introducing lush greenery that felt organic yet purposeful. Drawing inspiration from wild landscapes, we combined plants with varied shapes and heights to create a sense of movement and flow throughout the space.

Design Details
Our goal was to create something immersive—a green experience rather than just a decorative element. We focused on:

• Layering: Tall, sculptural plants added height, while cascading greenery softened shelves and ledges.

• Textures: We mixed glossy leaves with matte foliage, creating a rich visual contrast that played beautifully with Cherry Ventures' industrial interior.

• Color Palette: Deep greens were paired with pops of softer hues to maintain balance and warmth.

Creating Atmosphere
We wanted the plants to feel like they naturally belonged in the space. By tucking ferns into corners, placing climbing vines along walls, and setting statement plants beside communal areas, we aimed to make the greenery feel effortless—like it had always been there.

Why It Matters
This project wasn’t just about aesthetics. Plants have a unique ability to bring comfort and calm to busy environments. By introducing vibrant greenery, we softened the sharp edges of the space, creating a more inviting and energizing atmosphere for Cherry Ventures' team and visitors.
